There’s something beautiful and inspirational about this song, from the lyrics to the MV plot to the story behind the artist. 

I was curious about the actual artist and obviously Googled him. His real name is Nguyen Nhan Ai (what a beautiful name), an 18 years old from Hue, Vietnam with osteoporosis. As a child, this disease took away his ability to walk and limited him from certain activities. He consider this as a little hurdle in his life that wouldn’t change how he sees life, enjoy life, and reaching his dreams. Writing and performing rap is his passion, and excelling in school to become a Pharmacist is his dream. It’s inspirational how this kid has such strength! His determination and love for life through the lyrics from his songs…is just beautiful. 

Specifically the lyrics for this song is really sweet and touching. There’s so much in the lyrics that I can’t translate right now, but maybe one day. It’s basically about a shy and physically weak guy who likes a girl. He doesn’t know how to tell her he likes her and fears time will pass if he doesn’t take the chance. He may not be strong, healthy, and rich, but his affection and sincerity is real. 

I’m still getting used to the Hue rap in this song, I’m usually not even that big on VietRap. However, the piano background is so pretty and the story in the MV stirs up my emotions. D=
